MicroDevelopment Consulting Limited (MDCL) is Centre for Management Development (CMD) accredited multidisciplinary consulting firm that focuses on research, project management and capacity development. Registered in 2009 by its founder and CEO Furera Isma Jumare, it has a team of permanent employees and associate consultants that are expert in their fields, including; agriculture, rural development, managing development, finance and accounting, training practice, management development, organisational development, communication and change management.

What We Do
Our areas of focus are research, project management and capacity development. We believe that all three areas have logical links to each other. Policy making should be evidence based (through research). If properly managed (project management), programmes and projects that are planned and designed based on evidence would most likely achieve their objectives and meet the goals for which they are designed and implemented. And for sustainability, the capacities of organisations, institutions and communities as well as those that would run the programmes/projects, must be effectively developed (capacity development).
