Policy should be evidence-based. So, to effectively formulate policies, implement development projects and programmes, and ensure their sustainability, it is important to carry out research; gathering data and information and processing them for the advancement of knowledge. MDCL focuses on:

  • Studies and surveys
  • Impact assessment of projects
  • Market access; proposing and establishing market infrastructure and market information service
  • Provision of technical support to governments and NGOs to research, produce reports and package proposals and grant applications by governments

MDCL believes that proper planning, monitoring and evaluation result in good project and programme management practice, and subsequently, successful and sustainable project and programmes which can meet objectives, and therefore ultimate goals. To that effect, MDCL focuses on:
